🏭 Station Management – Manage Licensed Stations

The Station Management menu lets you control which production stations are configured in Next Plus under your license.
From here, you can approve, decline, and review station license requests, as well as manage already approved or declined stations.

This menu is used by Admins to enforce licensing rules and control station access.


Who should use this

  • βœ… Admins / Sysadmins – full access to approve, decline, and manage stations


Screen overview

The Station Management screen is divided into three tabs, each representing a different station license state:

  1. License Requests (Pending) – stations waiting for approval

  2. Licensed Stations (Approved) – active, licensed stations

  3. Declined Stations – stations that were rejected or deactivated

Each tab displays a table with filters, timestamps, and relevant actions.


πŸ“₯ License Requests (Pending)

This tab shows all stations that have requested a license and are waiting for approval.

Table columns

Field

Description

Client ID

Unique identifier of the station license

Requested At

Date and time when the station license request was submitted

Actions

  • Approve – Grants a license to the station and moves it to Licensed Stations

  • Decline – Rejects the request and moves it to Declined Stations

πŸ’‘ Tip
Approving a station immediately counts toward your licensed station quota.


βœ… Licensed Stations (Approved)

This tab displays all active, licensed stations that are currently allowed to operate in Next Plus.

Field

Description

Station Name

(Optional) name of the licensed station

Client ID

Identifier of the station

Approved At

Date and time when the station was approved

Actions

  • Edit Name – Rename the station for easier identification

  • Decline License – Revokes the station license and moves it to Declined Stations

  • View Change Log – Opens a history of approval, decline, and name changes for this station

⚠️ Warning
Declining a licensed station may immediately block production activity from that station.


🚫 Declined Stations

This tab contains stations whose license requests were declined or whose licenses were revoked.

Field

Description

Station Name

(Optional) Name of the declined station

Client ID

Identifier of the station

Declined At

Date and time when the station was declined

Actions

  • Edit Name – Update the station name (optional, for clarity)

  • Approve – Re-approves the station and moves it back to Licensed Stations

  • View Change Log – Displays the full change history for the station

Use the Change Log to audit who approved or declined a station and when.


Common issues & FAQs

I don’t see any license requests

This usually means no new stations have attempted to connect or request a license yet.


Why can’t a user login to a station?

Check whether the station appears under Declined Stations or has not yet been approved in License Requests.


Does renaming a station affect production data?

No. Renaming only changes the display name and does not affect historical data or reporting.
