Run License Refresh. System Manager > System Maintenance > License Refresh

Open a user for API. System Manager > System Maintenance > System Users > Add New User. The username should be defined in English only, in lowercase letters, and without special characters.

In the System Permissions for User screen (a sub-screen of System Users), you can define that the user is for applications only and thus will not be counted in the number of licenses.

In the Employee Card screen, identify the employee associated with the dedicated user and set their 'API Username'. This name should be identical to the name defined in step 2.

Set a password for the user. System Manager > System Maintenance > System Users > Change Passwords

Set permissions for the user - appropriate permissions should be given to the user so that they can perform the actions carried out through the connector. The vendor should provide this information to the customer as part of the connector. System Manager > System Maintenance > Permissions > Permission Explorer

In the Licensed Applications screen, System Manager > System Maintenance > Licenses > Licensed Applications, a new line appears with the license for the connector (APP043). The new user that was defined should be registered in the sub-screen Users Authorized for Application.

Generate PAT
​System Management → System Maintenance → Users → REST Interface Access Tokens

Copy the token and store it safely — it will be hidden after saving.
