Add Parts to BOM in Workflow

  1. From the main menu, go to Modeling-> Workflows - > All Workflows tab to view the list of current workflows.

  2. Identify and click on the Edit button of the workflow you want to edit from the list displayed.

  3. Scroll to the "BOM" section within the workflow editing area to begin managing parts.

  4. If adding parts to a new workflow or if no parts are currently listed, click on the "Add" button to start adding parts to the BOM.

  5. For existing BOMs, select the parts you want to add by clicking on the checkboxes next to the part names.

  6. Adjust the number of parts using the '+' or '-' buttons to reflect the correct quantity for each part you are adding.

    The "Rows" selector, does not refer to the quantity needed. It refers to the number of rows this item will have in the BOM. (you can see this as "How many unique callout IDs it has")

  7. After selecting parts and adjusting quantities, click the "SELECT" button to confirm your additions to the BOM.

  8. Review the BOM Management list to ensure all parts and quantities are correct and assign each part to the required step (or steps).

  9. Assign each part to the correct step in the workflow by using the dropdown menu in the "Show in steps" and "Required in steps" columns.

  10. After reviewing all changes, click "SAVE" to update the BOM with the new parts and quantities.
