Use this map when you know what you want to change but cannot find it in the React editor.
Workflow-level actions
The More menu groups workflow-wide actions. The capture shows a read-only example; availability can differ with the selected version and permissions.
Workflow name, types, Parts, and workflow settings: More → Workflow Settings.
Versions and comparison: More → Versions. This is separate from Publish.
Variables: More → Variables.
Workflow BOM: More → BOM.
Referenced and referencing workflows: More → Workflow References.
Spreadsheet-style instruction import: More → Import Nodes from Workflow.
VMM package import: More → Import from Stepgen.
Diagram output: More → View as SVG.
Print, Duplicate, and Lock Workflow Version: More → Workflow Settings → Actions.
Publish is its own header button. It starts validation and release; it does not act as a general Save button.
Step settings
Select the step, then use:
Basic Info for title, description, media, and chapter.
Enrichment for data fields, Location, and Tools.
Process for flags, production-entity selection, and step timing where enabled.
Signatures for signing and unsigning requirements.
Triggers for step-event actions.
Routing for outgoing connections and their conditions.
BOM for step-specific BOM links.
List Items for attached reference items.
Logic for conditional Show/Hide.
Adding and organizing instructions
Use Add Step, Add Chapter, and Add Reference in the workflow pane. Select a regular step and use Process when you need production-entity settings.
Drag/drop in Tree changes chapter membership. Change routes to change execution order. In Flow, drag cards to arrange the diagram or use Auto Layout.
Saving and keyboard shortcuts
Edits normally autosave. Watch the status and wait for Saved. The editor does not provide Cmd/Ctrl+S as a force-save shortcut.
Use Ctrl/Cmd+Z for workflow undo when focus is outside a text editor. Redo is Cmd+Shift+Z on Mac or Ctrl+Y on Windows/Linux. Text inputs and rich-text editors have their own undo behavior.
If a control is unavailable
Check whether the workflow is editable, whether you selected one step or several, and whether the feature is enabled for the environment. For example, message actions depend on configured channels, and the AI Assistant requires its service.
Triggers, conditions, and variables
Select a step and use Triggers for event-based actions. Build a condition inside the setting that needs it: Routing chooses a path, a trigger condition controls an action, and Logic controls Show/Hide. Workflow variables are under More → Variables. Choose the purpose before building the rule.
