Course Purpose

To establish a structured and consistent understanding of Next Plus capabilities, positioning, and implementation potential, enabling selling partners to accurately represent the solution and identify appropriate application scenarios.


Main Objective

Enable participants to confidently explain what Next Plus is, how it can be implemented across different operational fields, and how it integrates within organizational environments, without requiring technical configuration competence.


Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the purpose and positioning of Next Plus within the MES landscape

  • Describe how core elements (workflows, forms, parts, machines) are conceptually structured

  • Identify relevant industry use cases and implementation scenarios

  • Understand high-level system architecture and administrative structure

  • Describe how AI tools, add-ons, and VMM extend system capabilities

  • Explain how analytics and BI (Metabase) support operational insight

  • Outline the general flow of a Next Plus implementation project


Scope of Training

The course provides conceptual understanding only.
It does not include hands-on system configuration, administrative setup, or technical integration exercises.

Competence at this level is demonstrated through:

  • Active participation in all sessions

  • Engagement in structured discussions

  • Instructor confirmation of understanding during sessions

Prerequisites

No prior Next Plus experience required.
Basic familiarity with manufacturing or operational environments is recommended.

Overview of implementation fields: production, quality, pharma, maintenance, machine monitoring, IETM, batch manufacturing.

System Architecture & Administration Overview

Understand system structure, user hierarchy, and high-level administrative concepts.

Non-technical explanation of system organization and governance.

Workflow & Forms Overview

Understand how workflows and forms work conceptually and what can be achieved with them.

Demonstration of procedure modeling and structured data collection (no configuration).

Parts & Machines Overview

Understand how parts and machines are represented and why they are central to implementation.

Conceptual explanation of production modeling.

Add-ons, AI & VMM Overview
